Fundraising Opportunities with Saddlebred Rescue, Inc.

Saddlebred Rescue has many ways for people of all ages to be involved while raising awareness and money! We have several programs that are in place and they are easy to get involved…

Attention Mare Owners, Breeders and Lovers of Beautiful Horses
Callaway Hills Stables, The Blue Grass Futurity, and Saddlebred Rescue are joining forces in an effort to help ensure the future of the American Saddlebred as a breed.

This joint venture is made possible by the generous donation by Callaway Hills Stables, one of the most influential breeding programs in the industry, of a breeding to Callaway's The Gipper or Callaway's Cranston (winning bidder's choice). This service will be offered at the Blue Grass Futurity Auction on Sunday January 25, 2009 . The money raised by this horse will be donated to Saddlebred Rescue while the high bidder's resulting foal will still have full eligibility for the Blue Grass Futurity.

Fund Raising

Some new fall fundraising efforts have been started and are underway to help benefit Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. The organization has a few ways to donate so everyone can pitch in even in tough economic times.

"Pennies for Ponies", a penny drive is going on. It’s open to anyone, but a great way to have fun at the barn or youth club. Gather only pennies and send them in – we accept them in bags, boxes, or even rolls! We will announce the donor that gives the most pennies!! It’s easy, a great way to get started is put a small bowl or box on your desk, and ask your friends and coworkers for their spare pennies. Remember, every penny counts!

Save your pennies for our ponies!!!
