(Updated 1/12/2017)  SBR King Henry is an older (16ish) gelding that we received a call from an Amish family asking us to take. The family bought this gelding for a son who was dating a girl that lived too far for one horse to drive to. They bought a second horse boarded him at the halfway point. The son would drive one horse halfway, switch horses and drive the seconded half the rest to the way, Repeat when driving back home. After a break up the second horse was no long needed but they felt this gelding deserved a good home so they called us. King Henry is only 15.2 hands and he is not the prettiest horse BUT he has the kindest, truest heart you will find with a horse. This horse has spent most of his life driving so he never learned to canter but he is top on the list for the girls at North Wind. King Henry was used in camp, has done patterns and his ground manners are the best. This gelding is safe safe safe however he is not a beginner beginner horse at this time as his speed at the trot is a little quicker than most beginners feel comfortable with. King Henry is also the horse the girls fight over to trail ride or practice ride. I cannot say enough good things about this horse.
