COMMENTS: When Augusto arrived he was a little nervous but he is getting better. He came in directly from an Amish farm. He will canter, but it needs work. He canters on the right lead very well. The left lead tends to get a little "mixed gaity" We do believe he was in saddlebred school. We do really like this horse and think he will do well as a lesson or academy horse.

COMMENTS: This horse has been on the road. He is very kind. He was originally purchased by someone else who then donated him to us. He may or may not be a saddlebred. He has a thoroughbred look to him but he does not have a tattoo or freeze brand. Need to do DNA to confirm. He does not seem to like the martingale. He lunges well and stays to the rail. He does canter but it needs work. He may or may not have stringhalt. We have seen him sometimes hold his back foot up when walking. Does not do it all the time.

COMMENTS: Mr. Goodbar has a narrow build. He rides well He came in a little thin but he is gaining weight nicely. He would not be a beginner, beginner horse but we do think that with some work he can get there. We believe he probably has been to saddlebred school. He is fairly high headed and would make a good Academy type horse.

COMMENTS: This horse was donated into the program. He needs to go to a trainer who has worked with young horses. He has not yet been broke to ride, but we are starting that process. He does lead, he is easy to handle and good to catch. He is a very pretty horse and is a well-bred horse.

COMMENTS: Grommet had bad feet when he arrived. They had not been trimmed in a long time. Since he's been here his feet have been done twice and they are doing fine. He came in at a good weight. He does w/t/c but likes you to post 1 diagonal more than the other. And canters one direction better than the other. He might make a good beginner horse. He is easily to get along with, kind and loves attention and working. He will go outside. He would probably be a good lesson horse or sport horse.

He is a good horse that doesn't do anything bad. He is not at all spooky so he would probably make a good trail horse. He just needs a rider that knows how to guide.

COMMENTS: This horse is a cute as a button! This horse is game but not in a bad way. She gets showy but does flat walk. She would be perfect as an academy equitation horse. Your legs will not move with the canter. The canter does need some work to slow it down. This horse has never done anything bad. Not spooky at all. This horse gets two thumbs up from Nealia!

We believe as he gets more comfortable, he will get better in better. Right now we don't know how he would do riding in the grey area.

She is quiet in the bridle, stays to the rail, is a really cute mover and knows her leads. She was probably on the road at some point, but her legs are in great shape. Since she does have a motor, she would not be suitable for a beginner.

COMMENTS: This mare was donated into the program and was never on the road. She is very cute! She was purchased originally as a show horse and she is very much that. She is not a natural flat walker. She needs to have an experienced rider with good hands. She does WTC, her canter is a little fast but we are working on getting her to slow down. We do not believe that she will fit into a big lesson program. But would make a practice horse for 1 or 2 people. Ideally we think she will work best if placed with a trainer.

Will swap leads at the canter. Was adopted out once before but the farm had to cut back and sent him back. We are working on ring work with him to get him calmer. He would be a sport horse type would probably make a good cross country horse or endurance horse for an experienced rider.
