He walks really well, but rider needs to be able to steer, toerhwise he will wander. He is not overly spooky. He does canter. Has good starts but needs a little work collecting him.

COMMENTS: Pecan is VERY VERY KIND. He goes with the flow and can go weeks without riding him and he is the same as if you rode him every day. He CAN tolerate riding in the grey area. He is not lazy. A natural flat walker. He would work in a lesson program and with a little work he would be a great beginner horse. We have not done any biting work and are working on bridle work with him.

COMMENTS: PAL is a beautiful Palomino Saddlebred. He is not a beginner horse because he has a lot of energy. We believe he has probably been spoiled and didn't have someone who taught him to wear his bridle well. We are currently working on that. He lunges really well. We were told that he likes to be ridden outside.

She needs to have an experienced rider with good hands. She does WTC, her canter is a little fast but we are working on getting her to slow down. We do not believe that she will fit into a big lesson program. But would make a practice horse for 1 or 2 people. Ideally we think she will work best if placed with a trainer.

He is BEST suited for Walk/Trot only as cantering seems to make him nervous. He is an awesome academy horse for and intermediate rider. He is showier than the average rescue and can do well at shows.

Will swap leads at the canter. Was adopted out once before but the farm had to cut back and sent him back. We are working on ring work with him to get him calmer. He would be a sport horse type would probably make a good cross country horse or endurance horse for an experienced rider.

COMMENTS: Ruben has been working with Tanner to get him to trust again and we have seen fabulous results. Once Ruben gained his trust, Tanner would do whatever he was asked. He is a game horse but not in a bad way. He canters on both leads and is pretty collected. He isn't a beginner and needs to go somewhere with a trainer. Tanner will have "Special Terms" if adopted. He has been shown by a trainer in Park Pleasure in 2019/2010, and more recently by Ruben.

He is a favorite in the barn. He is fairly consistent but does need to work every day. He would work well as a practice show horse or for an aggressive academy rider. He does tend to get a little gamer at shows.

After you get on and begin walking, she gets very relaxed and calm. She could be a show horse for some local shows. She did not know how to canter and it appears that she must may not have ever been asked to do so. Would be a good Academy horse.

COMMENTS: When Harley was in the kill pen he pretended to be a Saddlebred so we would bring him home! This horse is clearly a Standardbred. He has no tattoo and no freeze brand. He has wonderful manners and our guess is that he was with a trainer that worked him to be a road horse. He is a natural trotter. He rides easily. He trots a corner and stays to the rail. This is not a horse that was just out on the road. He was probably in a show barn at one time. When we took him to a show, he was at peace with anything we asked of him.

This horse is the same very single day. If DNA finds that he is registered he would bake a nice show horse.
