Giving As A Gift

Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. (SBR) accepts donations as “gifts” for others.  Most of the requests we have received were at the end of the year during the holidays, but we have also received birthday wishes and graduation greetings, for example.  We do not have a set procedure but we respect the request of the donor and their wishes.  The rescue typically sends a card, on behalf of the donor, to the individual to recognize the special gift and occasion.  We typically have made custom greeting cards with a “horsey” twist and we frequently ask for the donor’s approval before the card is sent.  We do not disclose the amount of the donation, but the card simply states a donation has been made in your honor.

Help the horses and make a holiday gift to SBR in the name of your friends and associates.  We have received holiday donations from barn owners to recognize their customers.  Sisters have sent the rescue donations to honor family birthdays.  All of the recipients have received special custom cards from us.

Each and every donation to Saddlebred Rescue will receive a letter receipt from the rescue as well as a confirmation that we have followed their written requests.

For cash donations you can send us a check and mail it to us at Saddlebred Rescue, Inc., 6 Meadow Cliff Lane, Hardwick NJ 07825.  We suggest you write in the memo section of your check, “Birthday/Holiday Gift for – " and include the person’s name.  Also, if you are mailing to us send us a note with your instructions.

You also have the option to make a credit card donation in honor of your guest by going to our new Donation Station powered by Network for Good by clicking the following link.
